Education

He is a graduate of Yıldız Technical University's Mechanical Engineering program, Anadolu University's Public Relations program, and Anadolu University's Business Administration program. He is currently continuing his studies in the Justice program at Istanbul University. After completing an MBA at Özyeğin University (an Entrepreneurship master's degree on a scholarship), he is now pursuing doctoral studies at Aston University.

He has completed marketing management training in the events and entertainment industry at Boğaziçi University, and holds a Professional Coaching certificate accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF).

In addition to his English-language education at his foreign-language-intensive high school and university, he has attended courses at Oxford House College in London, England, and the EF language school in San Francisco, USA.

In the summer of 2015, he studied Game Design at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts (NYU Tisch School of Arts – Game Design) in the United States.

Companies and Books

He is the founder of M3 Works, a corporate organization company that runs teamwork and motivation workshops for businesses, and Park Kitap, a publishing services company. Genç, who also has interests in literature, music and photography, is the author of four books: "Boss at 20," "Debut," "Cuban Rhythm," and "Entrepreneur at 10."

Between 1999 and 2004, he served as editor of Metal Monster magazine and wrote for Köprüaltı, Şebek, Dream and Fortune magazines.

Music, Photography and Racing

He has solo recordings with Soul Shred dating to 2003 and with Karma dating to 2009, and has played percussion with Varillaz and the Ritmbox Percussion Workshop since 2006. He has taken part in numerous exhibitions, including the 3rd İfsak Young Photographers Festival and Modern Face of Istanbul, and is an award-winning amateur photographer, having won prizes in the İzzet Keribar, 3rd Kingston & Fotoğraf Dergisi, and 4th Kingston & Fotoğraf Dergisi competitions. He is a TOSFED-licensed racing driver competing in the Intercity Silver Cup at Istanbul Park.

Memberships

He is President of the Young CEO Club, a member of the JCI Bahçeşehir Board of Directors, and a member of the Harley Davidson Owners Group (HOG), the TOBB Young Entrepreneurs Council, TEGEP, and YTÜMed.

Awards

Erdem Genç, who has given seminars on "Entrepreneurship" and "Teamwork" and organized events at more than five hundred companies, universities, high schools and civil society organizations, has received awards from a range of institutions including TÜGİAD, Boğaziçi University, Startup Weekend, JCI, Lions, Peryön, and Eduplus.

He received the Best Event Supplier award on behalf of M3 Works at the World Tourism Forum three years running, in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

In the 2015-2016 term, he was honored as Turkey's Most Outstanding Young Person in the Business and Entrepreneurship category at the TOYP (Ten Outstanding Young Person) awards, organized by JCI (Junior Chamber International), an international young entrepreneurs and leaders association with chapters in more than 100 countries.

Last year he was honored with the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the Turkey Youth Summit, and this year with the Entrepreneur of the Year award from Kültür University.

He gave his TEDx Ankara talk in 2018, and his debut album, "Motivasyon," was released in 2019.
