Basınodam – Erdem Genç

The European branch of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) — the Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs Association — has named Erdem Genç a Change Maker from among its thousands of members.

JCI (Junior Chamber International), which has more than 200,000 members in over 100 countries worldwide, is a United Nations solution partner, and has a history spanning more than 100 years, has had its European branch name Erdem Genç a Change Maker from among its thousands of members.

Erdem Genç, who runs team-building and motivation training for companies and also carries out social responsibility projects at M3 Works, has a number of eye-catching initiatives to his name. Among his projects with major corporations, one of the most popular workshops is the Wheelchair Factory. Erdem Genç has company employees assemble wheelchair parts sourced from the factory, then donates the finished chairs to the Turkish Spinal Cord Paralytics Association for distribution to people with disabilities who are waiting for them. Thanks to this, dozens of disabled people regain at least a measure of freedom every year.

From workshops that give bicycles to children in need to toy factories, and from shelters built for our four-legged street friends to school-bag drives, Erdem Genç has carried out many social responsibility workshops together with employees of major companies, saying, "Dreams have no limits."

The young businessman, previously named Turkey's Most Outstanding Young Person by the same organization's Turkish National Chapter, had also been named Entrepreneur of the Year by various institutions in Turkey.
