Mall Report – Erdem Genç
"Digitalization is transforming the way events are organized"
M3 General Coordinator Erdem Genç, explaining that the best thing about digital elements is their dynamic nature, described the difference they make in an event that incorporates digital components with this example: "When you build an entirely LED stage, your presentations become more flexible, and the visuals let the whole stage transform."
M3 Organization General Coordinator Erdem Genç noted that the events industry is one that constantly demands innovation: "With every new event, companies want new solutions they haven't experienced before. At the same time, even if they haven't tried them themselves, they don't want solutions that have already been overexposed. That's why, at M3 Works, we constantly track innovations abroad and develop our own innovative solutions," he said.
DIGITAL APPLICATIONS FROM M3 ORGANIZATION
Erdem Genç, noting that advancing technology allows them to express themselves better, said, "The excitement created by the tools we use amplifies the impact of the messages we want to deliver," and continued: "The best thing about digital elements is their dynamic nature. For example, when you build an entirely LED stage, your presentations become more flexible, and the visuals let the whole stage transform. With virtual reality goggles added to the foyer area, you can take your participants on a virtual tour inside a factory or send them on adventures. With next-generation mobility devices — 'walking Gingers' — you can have a more practical experience than with the old Ginger: with jumping shoes, you can have fun and get exercise at the same time. We now even design our treasure-hunt-style games with tablets; we turn videos featuring the company's general manager into tech-driven experiences using interactive applications. With digital instrument apps loaded onto our tablets, we run special workshops and make music together. Our LED-lit drums add a whole new dimension to the music. While apps we load instantly onto phones let us see survey results in real time, we can hide the secret codes for escape-room games on special screens."
Genç, stating that technology and digitalization are already changing the way events are organized and adding a highly enjoyable dimension to them, concluded by saying that the industry can look forward to events we will benefit from even more in the coming years.
