Karabiga Municipality – Erdem Genç

Young entrepreneur and businessman Erdem Genç visited our Mayor Muzaffer Karataş at his office to congratulate him on his work for Karabiga…

Genç, who spoke of wanting to do something for Karabiga himself, said: "I'm proud to be from Karabiga. I'm planning to donate a library and an Atatürk Corner to Mustafa Kemal Primary School, and I want to do this in my father's name, on Father's Day. Karabiga belongs to all of us, and whenever I get the chance, I love coming to spend time in our town." Genç added that his plans weren't limited to this, saying he has ideas related to the professions he is currently active in, and that he wants to bring those to life soon as well.

Our Mayor Muzaffer Karataş thanked him in turn, saying: "For a person not to forget their ancestral homeland — even though you weren't born here, seeing yourself as part of Karabiga is an extremely meaningful and admirable gesture." 02.10.2012
