The Turk Named Europe's 'Change Maker'

The European branch of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) has named Erdem Genç a 'Change Maker' from among its thousands of members

JCI (Junior Chamber International) — described as having more than 200,000 members in over 100 countries worldwide, a solution partner of the United Nations, and a history spanning more than 100 years — named Erdem Genç a 'Change Maker' from among its thousands of members through its European branch. Erdem Genç, who runs teamwork and motivation training programs for companies and also carries out social responsibility projects through M3 Works, has a number of notable initiatives to his name. Among the workshops he has run with major corporations, one of the most popular is said to be the Wheelchair Factory, in which company employees assemble wheelchair parts supplied by Genç; the finished wheelchairs are then donated to the Turkish Spinal Cord Paralytics Association for distribution to people with disabilities waiting for them. Erdem Genç, who has run numerous social responsibility workshops with employees of major companies — from sessions where bicycles are given to children in need, to toy factories, to shelters built for people living on the street, to workshops making school bags — said, "Dreams have no limits." It was also noted that the young businessman had previously been named Turkey's Most Outstanding Young Person by the same organization's Turkish National Structure, and that he has been named 'Entrepreneur of the Year' by various institutions in Turkey as well.
