Keyf Gazetesi – Erdem Genç
Rocker and businessman Erdem Genç will award a one-year scholarship to a student chosen from among those who film a video for his new song "Engel Olma." Genç, who says this song encourages young people toward change and action while blending his life as an entrepreneur and businessman, is offering a monthly scholarship of 500 TL for one year to whoever makes the music video — at least one minute long — that he judges to be the most successful among the entries.
The artist, whose debut solo album "Motivasyon" has just been released, explains why he's offering this scholarship: "I did my first event-organizing work in high school. I founded my company at the age of 20. Back then nobody believed in me, but now I'm at the head of a company that's a leader in its field. I believe in young people, and as a young adult myself, I support both their dreams and their creativity. I hope that even a small contribution like this finds the right place, and helps young people climb the ladder to success much more easily."
Conditions
Open only to high school and university students.
Among the videos uploaded to YouTube by 31 October 2019, the 20 clips with the most views, likes and comments will advance to the final round. By 30 November, the most popular of these 20 clips will be put up for revoting. The winning clip will be announced on 21 December on Erdem Genç's social media accounts.
All clips must be uploaded to both YouTube and IGTV, link to youtube.com/erdemgenccom and the Instagram account @erdemgenc, and include the hashtags #erdemgenç and #engelolma.
The finalist clips will be announced on 15 November, and the 20 clips will be put up for another round of voting. Erdem Genç may include clips he finds impressive even if they didn't make the initial top 20, or may exclude clips he doesn't consider suitable even if they placed among the finalists.
