My First Album Is Out: Motivasyon

Another dream of mine has come true, and my first solo album is finally out. I had made recordings before, but this is the first time it has been done professionally. I am very happy 🙂 I hope people like it. To listen:

Turkish racing driver shoots a video for a home-grown Fast & Furious

Motorsport racer Erdem Genç, who has competed many times at İstanbulpark, Turkey’s Formula 1 circuit, has now stepped into the world of music too, after business and sport, with his newly released album.

Genç, who has made a name for himself not only through his interest in motor racing but also through the motivation training he gives to companies, has brought together his academic work on personal development and his passion for music and motorsport in the rock album he has called “Motivasyon”.

Motivasyon began on 1 February

“Motivasyon”, the first album by Erdem Genç, one of the business world’s best-liked faces thanks to the motivation training he has been giving private companies for some 15 years, was released on 1 February. Genç, who has been involved in music since his high-school years, plays percussion on the album as well as being its rock vocalist. The album’s first video is about a car race.

The seven-track rock album is also a first in Turkey in terms of the electronic elements it contains. Besides “Motivasyon”, which gives the album its name, the other songs are: “Engel Olma”, “Bedeni Mahvet”, “Benim İçin Sen Ağlama”, “Sandığın Aşk” and “Kim Ne Derse Desin”.

The young artist shot his first video for the song “Motivasyon”, which shares its name with the album; the album also includes an English version of the song, entitled “Motivation”.

Theme of the first video: a home-grown Fast & Furious

Erdem Genç, a TOSFED-licensed racing driver competing in the Silver Cup league at İstanbulpark, combined his passions for music and motor racing in this video. The performance scenes in the video for Motivasyon were shot at the Beykoz Kundura factory, while the racing scenes, filmed with two powerful sports cars, were shot on the third bridge road with the help of an unmanned drone.

In the video, Erdem challenges Teoman, the wicked boss who tyrannises his employees, and they settle their score with a car race. The race, started by the wronged girl, ends with a surprise.

Barcelona and boxing videos on the way

Erdem Genç, who has also begun work on videos for two more songs as a surprise for music lovers, described his next videos in these words:

“One of the videos was shot in Barcelona, the other in a boxing studio. Once post-production is finished, these two videos will also be released in the coming months.”
