A Rise in Corporate Social Responsibility Work
Announcing its activity report for last year, the corporate activity agency M3 Works said that the biggest increase in 2018 was in Corporate Social Responsibility work.
Erdem Genç, General Manager of the company, which holds more than 1000 events a year with over 500 brands, said: “As a result of growing sensitivities across the country, last year we saw a 26% increase in the work we do with companies, particularly in social responsibility events. We expect this trend to continue in 2019.”
Genç said that, in order to do the most effective work with the more than ten non-governmental organisations they cooperate with, they organise events in which employees are personally involved, and added: “As an alternative to achieving an impact limited to financial donations alone, we produce projects in which the brand and its employees take an active part in person and raise awareness by building empathy.”
Some of the NGOs we cooperate with and channel donations to: -Türkiye Omurilik Felçlileri Derneği (Tofd) -Korunmaya Muhtaç Çocuklar Vakfı (Koruncuk Vakfı) -Darüşşafaka Vakfı -Türkiye Erozyonla Mücadele Vakfı (Tema) -Kansersiz Yaşam Vakfı -Sokak Çocuklarını Koruma Derneği -Lösemili Çocuklar Derneği -Diyalog Müzesi
Some of What Was Done in 2018 with Close to 5000 Participants: The bicycles built in the Bicycle Factory made 157 children happy. Thanks to the wheelchairs built by participants in the Wheelchair Factory, 98 of our disabled brothers and sisters are now able to move about more easily. With the healthy wooden toys made in the Toy Factory, we brought joy to 502 little ones. The 14 sturdy kennels built in the Shelter Workshop became homes for our little friends in various provinces of Turkey.
