It’s Time to Join In and Have Fun Instead of Standing By and Watching!
The Istanbul businessman, his days filled with meetings, deals and traffic, still has the chance, in spite of everything and even during working hours, to have fun in the city.
Human Resources departments are looking for new motivation methods to help their employees unwind in this stressful working life and to strengthen solidarity within the company.
This is exactly where M3 Works comes in, recommending team percussion sessions to companies. Having organised more than 500 events for more than 200 companies over the past five years, M3 Works is working on new bookings.
As the company’s General Coordinator, Erdem Genç, puts it: “It’s time to join in and have fun instead of standing by and watching!”
According to experts, rhythm gets the right and left sides of employees’ brains working together, while increasing their willingness to take part in teamwork, improving concentration and motivating them by creating a synergy.
International companies all over the world are aware of this powerful side of rhythm and make extensive use of it in both local and global events. While this method is new in Istanbul, it has been in use in the United States and Europe for many years.
Working hand in hand with Human Resources, M3 Works prepares concepts and presentations to help employees relax, develop personally, and learn new values while leaving the tedium of the old ones behind. Some organisations also arrange after-work events to increase synergy within the company.
At the events, each employee usually chooses the rhythm instrument that suits them and that they want to play. After a short practice everyone invariably finds the right rhythm, and the rhythm they are able to play becomes a source of great excitement for them.
At the end of the programme, everyone gets to keep the instrument they played.
If people are working so hard, they should at least be able to have some fun too, shouldn’t they?
